Course Overview

Dear Parents,

Most assignments will be assigned in class and worked on at school and home. However, some of the assignments are web-based online. The activities and assignments in this course are meant to be a framework. Your involvement is a crucial component. In addition to basic supervision of your student's assignments, it is important that you monitor your student's understanding of the concepts or events that are explored. Informal discussion can be a very effective tool for accomplishing this. Reading the course syllabus and assignments will give you an idea of what is expected of your student, how grades will be determined, due dates, and the content of the weekly assignments.

Using the Aeries system you can access the course grade book at any time. The grade book will provide you with information about assignment completion and scores.  Additional classroom information and online assignments will be found at the Oak Middle School web site.

Please contact me if you have any questions.  You may do so by sending an email to crheaume@losal.org.

Thank you,

Mr. Rheaume
